Waldorf education is a developmentally based pedagogy intended to cultivate young peoples’ independent thinking and imagination, empathy for others, and to develop their strength of will so that they would rise to individual, social, and economic challenges both contemporary and future. It is a global educational movement on six continents with more than 1,000 independent schools globally. Waldorf teachers receive specialized training in the Waldorf curriculum and methods, a comprehensive education that supports students in age-appropriate strategies to develop into balanced and responsible global citizens.
