Katherine Flanagan

Katherine is a New York State certified teacher and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in childhood education from Queens College.  After several years of teaching, I joined the Waldorf School of Garden City in 2022, where I continue to learn and grow each day. 

In the classroom, I strive to create a warm, respectful, and supportive environment where meaningful relationships and connections can flourish. I believe that a strong sense of community helps children feel confident, engaged, and inspired to learn. 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
