Jeena Henao

Jeena Henao serves as the Development Associate at the Waldorf School of Garden City. She joined the school with a background in marketing and customer service, and she is grateful to bring those experiences into a role that allows her to connect with families, alumni, and the wider community. In her day-to-day work, she supports development initiatives and events that help strengthen and celebrate the relationships that make the Waldorf School so special.

From the moment she arrived, she felt drawn to the school’s welcoming atmosphere and its deep commitment to community life. Being part of an environment where people genuinely care for one another and value creativity and curiosity has made her work both meaningful and fulfilling.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, she finds joy in spending time outdoors and being with her family. Whether exploring nature or simply enjoying quiet moments together, these experiences keep her grounded and inspire her in her work at the school.
