Erica Milone

Erica Milone has been part of The Waldorf School of Garden City community since 2014 as a parent and joined the Early Childhood faculty in 2017. Having three children at the school has fostered a strong connection to the community and a deep appreciation for the nurturing environment it offers families.

Erica graduated from Sunbridge Institute’s Early Childhood Education program in 2022. Before becoming a teacher, Erica worked in the holistic wellness field as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Holistic Nutrition Counselor, and Yoga Teacher. These experiences helped shape her belief in caring for the whole human being, supporting emotional well-being, having a balanced foundation, and a meaningful connection to the natural world.

In the classroom, Erica strives to create a warm, rhythmic, and welcoming environment where children feel safe and valued, and where imagination, play, and daily life nurture a love of learning and a respect for the natural world.

When she is not at school, Erica can most often be found outdoors in the garden, cooking, hiking, tending to her chickens, or spending time with her family.
