Athena Perry

Athena Perry’s journey into Waldorf education began through her own experience as a parent, where the Parent-Child program revealed the beauty of early childhood rooted in rhythm, imitation, and connection. Alongside this path, her background in landscape design—tending and nurturing plants—deepened her understanding of growth as a patient, attentive process, much like supporting young children and their families.

Inspired to expand her work, Athena first continued her development through the Leading with Wisdom and Heart program at the Waldorf School of Garden City in 2023, and later pursued formal training at Sunbridge Institute, completing the Introduction to Early Childhood program. 

Now the Lead Teacher of the Parent-Child class, Athena guides families at the beginning of their Waldorf journey, cultivating a warm, supportive environment where parents feel nurtured, and children are gently guided to grow strong and secure—each unfolding in their own time, like a well-tended garden.
